What a rewarding and fun experience to visit with 20 first grade students.
We talked about reading and writing stories. There was one little boy, David who introduced himself as an author because he writes his very own little books everyday. He insisted I read two of them right then. They were very cute, small square pieces of paper stapled together just like a book. He was so proud. I was so honored that he wanted to share.
We made crafts related to my book and Every Child received a Free copy of my book as our gift. They were so excited and we took a great photo of all the children with their books. It was a great moment for all of us!
As you may know, it is my dream to give 10,000 children FREE books so if you know of any business owners who would be willing to sponsor this quest please email me with their information so we don't waste anymore time!! The children are out there waiting for their class room visit and their Free books!!
Lets get 10,000 more children excited to create their own stories just like David!!
